Steps to wz editing:
1. Download HaRepacker
2. Download the GM Hand Book (Optional but may come in handy)
3. Run HaRepacker as an administrator
4. In the drop box, select 'GMS(T) (v56+)'
5. Go to File>Open and Find your Maplestory folder. You should see something like this:
6. Open up the wz file you wish to edit. In this case I will be editing the 'Character.wz' file.
7. Click the plus next to the 'Character.wz' (Or which ever wz you chose) file. Find what you want to edit. I will be looking under 'Face' because that is where eyes are found.
8. Under 'Face I am going to look for the default face image of the face I wish to edit. When I click on 'face' (Face>0020001.img>defult>face) I see the current image for this face.
9. Now if I click 'Change Image..' I can select a new face/eye for my character.
10. Now you will see your new face in the window. Save the file over your current wz file and run Maplestory. You will now see your new face/eye in the stylist of your sever and can select the new image.
Tips:
-You can only see your wz edits, others cannot. Although others cannot see wz edits, if you have a map edit other players may see you floating above the ground which in most servers will result in a ban.
-Most wz edits are aloud such as UI and skill edits because they do not give players an unfair advantage
-Be careful when editing the cash shop because you could end up getting yourself auto banned
-Packet editing can be a fun, artistic and legal way to show off your talents in a server when used correctly but can also be used to give players unfair advantages.. Which is most likely why you are reading this

I should've thought of/done this long ago rather than starve myself through all those school lunch times just so I could get a Store permit and sell stuff only to get insults in return instead from narrow-minded players who refused to join my guild.
After all these years of failed leveling, upgrading, and recruiting of guild members, and a destroyed Ghost Ship Exorcist badge on a 3 year old Mechanic, I decided to retire to a MapleStory Private Server. After playing on a Private Server for the first time after 3 years on GMS, I realized 'I could've had all my MapleStory Short Story videos done by now (or maybe last year; one of the two)'. But instead, I wasted it all on daily-limited quests and trying to get mesos to upgrade equips as well as $600CAD just to get nx and buy stuff (such as meso sacs and shop permits) to get things across and learn things in MS the hard way. Yes, I literally sacrificed $600CAD in high school lunch money just to get stuff like hair coupons in MS when I could've used that money to get a supercomputer. The destroyed GSE badge on my 3 year old 210 mechanic (via star enhancement window), plus Nexon's lack of equipment compensation ultimately led me to doing the one thing no one would ever encourage me to do: I gave up on GMS. Without my GSE badge, I can't continue on GMS. Plus, I wasted too much real money just to sell stuff in an attempt to get more mesos. Instead, I got more insults than mesos from players. Such as 'Shoo.', '@No.', and 'Leave.'.So my big question here is how do you make the latest version of a MS Private Server? Like, do they break into Nexon's HQ and extract all the sprites, maps, sound effects, etc off their computers and then reconstruct it like a jigsaw puzzle? If they did, then I'll have to pack my bags and fly to California in order to do that. Like, the MS files have to come from somewhere. Also, its the only way to acquire the Wizet Invincible Hat. In addition to the hat, the GM class itself is making me jealous. Yes, believe it or not, theres actually a class called 'GM/SuperGM' (and I'm 99.99% certain you can only play as this class if you work for Nexon/Wizet). So with a personal Private Server (a Private Server meant for my own personal usage), I can see what it's like to be a GM and bypass all the other private server site rules. If the GM class itself doesn't make you jealous, maybe this will. Theres a skill called 'Super Dragon Roar' that does %1000 damage to all monsters on screen and 'Resurrection' that revives you instantly in the map you're currently in without needing to click OK to revive and teleporting to a safe town in the process or purchasing the Wheel Of Destiny from the Cash Shop.
While we're on this topic about hacking, why are bots bad? I never hacked before, but as a good player from GMS, the only good use I see for them is that they can allow me to farm mesos while I do house chores. Of course, I could call in my human friend to play MS for me while I make breakfast/lunch/dinner, do laundry, etc. So why are bots taboo to mmorpg moderators like MapleStory? That and having my friend play MS for me will make no difference (at least thats what I think).
A side question: why or how are Private Servers bad? Besides the fact that they allow you to play the game and get stuff absolutely free, I don't see how Private Servers are bad. Also, when you create a Private Server, do you as the admin, get a Wizet Invincible Hat?
Also, how do I safeguard my PS from Nexon so they don't find it? ExtaliaMS got shut down when Nexon discovered their ip address. (Well, actually, the real reason is unknown. But still, I wanna take extra precautions to avoid going to court to face Nexon.) And yeah, the last comment here: was really helpful. In fact, it made me sick to my stomach! Because this tells me they're not telling me the full story! They're just using that as an excuse to cover their tracks that lead to something darker! What is that 'thing' you might ask? I don't know. I just have to dig deeper into their database of secrets to find the truth.
So with this, I'll have to put my MMD project on hold for now. I gotta wait til MS2 is released so I can port its models to MMD.
And believe me, my friend. When it comes to MMORPGs, it's literally a race against time (this is where Time is Money. Such as EG, construction of a condo in a boom-town; the workers need to build it quickly to allow more residents to move in.). Especially if you have a huge amount of character classes to upgrade. Plus, you are only allowed to do a daily event once per character. I have a Mechanic, an Angelic Buster, a Corsair, a Cannon Master, a Zero, a Xenon, a Phantom, a Beast Tamer, and a Wild Hunter. That's like more kids than Octomom needs to feed. And I used up almost an entire day just to do daily quests on all of them due to the fact that alot of negative factors in the game slowed me down as the days rolled by! Whether it's bad hackers, DCs (which is an online game term for 'disconnections') (regardless of whether I have a good or poor internet connection), unscheduled server maintenances, or anything else along those lines!
Plus, can't you compare a v83 Private Server to a discontinued game console like the Gamecube or the PlayStation 1? How can we play an old game from many years ago without a machine that's capable of doing so? So yeah, how can we try out the old skills and old classes of the older servers if we can't even play on the older servers of Yesterday Today? And how are we suppose to play Monsteropoly, One Card, Omok, and all the minigames of the old MapleStory anniversary events now that Star Planet (an old feature that allows us to go challenge other players in minigames in a special map) is no longer being run on the latest MapleStory server?
Also, can't you compare a MMORPG Private Server to a Jailbreak Tweak (such as IAP Cracker and Installous) for iPod Touches/iPhones/iPads? Because for games like Tiny Tower, Subway Surfers, Candy Crush, etc, even without a Jailbreak/with the official server, I can still go the distance and get these games completed 100% without spending a single penny, because the developer(s) that made these game(s) intends to put them up to be downloaded for free. But I can't waste anymore time on these server-sided games as I have other important things to do. And yes, I recently got caught by mom when I was using my food money for things I wasn't suppose to (in this case, a jailbreak from a cell phone repair shop (if they have a JB available)). We got into a disagreement when she wouldn't listen further to what a jailbreak is as she's old school and doesn't know much about the computer world. Where did she make up these crazy thoughts? I'll never know.
Oh, 1 more thing. Besides internet service, how does a Private Server require funds to run? Because most PS sites say in their community guidelines 'If possible, please donate as Private Servers need funds to run. I've been paying out of my own pocket for months now.'.

How do I make the latest version of a MapleStory Private Server? I don't intend to share my PS with ANYONE anytime soon. I merely wanna see how every character class functions at Max Level. And there is a problem when I'm dealing with MMORPGs: there are other major commitments I have to attend to (such as dealing with children, working full time, etc). I just want to relax and enjoy the game, but I can't enjoy it at it's full potential, because I need to be at a certain level to unlock things. That's the major thorn in my butt. Also, with the loss of BannedStory, I have to resort to a PS to animate character sprites.

How do you create the GM/SuperGM class as you are the admin of your created PS?
Question 3:
What are the commands needed to find and generate usable items (HP/MP/Boost potions), equips, mesos, etc; to spawn certain monsters/bosses, and many other things?
Question 4:
As your the GM/admin with a GM account, how do you get stolen skills onto a Phantom from explorer classes if there is no other players online as explorers to steal skills?
Question 5:
How do you acquire the GM equipment (Wizet Invincible Hat, Wizet Suit and Pants, Wizet Suitcase)?
Question 6:
Are S-Nebulites obtainable? If so, how? I want Damage to Bosses +35% and All Stats +6%.
Question 7:
Is there a way to change each of the Potential Lines (on normal and bonus potential) on equipment manually? Because all 3 of the Potential lines (EG, All Stats: +XX%, Ignore Monster Defense: +X%, and Critical Rate: +XX% change at random when cubed.
Question 8:
Is there a way to choose specific lines for Inner Ability? Because I want to have All Stat +40, Boss Damage: +20%, and Normal Monster Damage: +10% for all my character classes.
Question 9:
How do I safeguard my PS from Nexon? I don't wanna face them in court after they caught the owners of ExtaliaMS.

I'm currently on Windows 7. I might upgrade to Windows 10 3 years from now. So how do I make my PS compatible with Windows 10?
